Preparatory Stage (Class III To V)

The stage is the foundation of a child's education and mindset. Our curriculum at this stage is designed to help children build early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development, to help prepare them for the primary education that follows. The curriculum focuses on the following areas:

  • Child Centric Teaching - The teacher acts as a facilitator or guide, rather than an authoritarian figure, and encourages children to take an active role in their own learning.
  • Interactive Classroom Learning - Moving away from the boring chalk and board teaching, we aim to engage students in the learning process through hands-on activities, discussions, and collaboration. Also, using interactive whiteboards, educational software, and online resources.
  • Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) - This period is the right time to build the foundation of reading, writing, speaking, counting, arithmetic, and mathematical thinking. Key focus is given to these areas through multiple activities.
  • Beyond the Classroom -Field trips, community service, etc are a few activities conduct outside the classroom to help students explore the world around them and to see the things they have learnt in the classroom come alive.
