World Health Day is a global health awareness day observed every year on 7 April , under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO) to mark WHO’s founding. Capturing the theme of 2024 ‘My Health, My Right’, a special talk in morning assembly was held for the students in Blue Bird High School, sector -16 Panchkula. During the talk, the school doctor spoke on the importance of healthy eating habits, maintaining hygiene and the importance of sports and exercise in our daily lives. Students also pledged to keep their mind and bodies healthy. Students of Classes III- V brought healthy tiffin’s to be a part of the celebrations of world health day and learnt the significance of a healthy diet. Various physical activities like yoga, aerobics and meditation were also held in senior classes. School principal, Ms.Vandna, also apprised the students about following a healthy lifestyle.

Blue Bird High School (A Senior Secondary School) Sector -16 Panchkula,  hosted its Annual Kindergarten Function “PRE-EMINENCE” on 16^th March 2024 transforming the stage into a magical realm of creativity and joy.

The young performers took the audience on a mesmerizing journey through the five elements, seamlessly blending education with entertainment. The stage came alive with the spirit of camaraderie as the little stars presented heartwarming performances depicting the essence of friendship. The childhood dreams and aspirations were beautifully captured in the acts presented under the theme of 'Belief - Aashayen.' A thought-provoking segment addressed the pros and cons of mobile technology, showcasing the awareness and mindfulness our kindergarteners possess., They also showcased the gigantic  success of Chandrayaan 3 and  its journey of a success through a beautiful dance performance.

Ms. Tejasvini Sharma , A Special star singer was the chief guest of the function and was a source of inspiration for many to learn , to fight with all the hurdles and be a winner. She also sang a song for the audience.

Mrs. Vandna Bhatnagar, Principal, appreciated the efforts of Tejasvini’s mother for bringing up her daughter so well . She expressed her gratitude towards the dedication of the teachers, students and the unwavering support of parents. She emphasized the significance of such events which contribute to the holistic growth of the students during their educational journey.

GOOD LUCK PARTY FOR THE STUDENTS OF CLASS X

The students, staff and management of Blue Bird High School held a Good Luck party for the students of Class X by the students and teachers of class IX in the school campus.  The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments. 

Madam Principal, Ms. Vandna Bhatnagar, passed on the light of wisdom to all the students of class X. She told them to uphold the school motto, “Knowledge is power” and keep the flag of Blue Bird High School flying high by practicing the ideals of honesty and truth learnt in school. 

Mr. Blue Bird, Bhavya and Miss. Blue Bird Naina expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the alma mater. Many more titles were also given to many other students. 

Class IX students presented an entertaining cultural programme which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Students danced to their heart’s content on the music belted out by the DJ. Students clicked photographs, in order to capture memories of school, teachers and their friends forever. The enjoyable gathering came to an end marked with both happiness for the coming future and sorrow for the upcoming separation with few.
